Etsy Temptations

One of my favorite places to shop is Etsy. It's SO convenient! Which can get me into trouble. I gave into temptation a little recently. Thought I'd share, so maybe you could be a little tempted too. Seriously I had good reasons!
I really needed more coasters. My Bible Study ladies, all 19 of them, have to have safe places to put their drinks. I've been meaning to make some, but you know how that goes and goes and goes. So, I let somebody else do it. Aren't they pretty?  They're perfect.
This little cutie was a pure, unadulterated, for no good reason, impulse buy.
Mine is orange/red and so very cute on this here laptop I'm on.
I found myself in need of a clock in my sewing room.  A digital one would never do.

Then of course, there's Buddy.  He "needed" a fancier collar than the Harley Davidson "bad to the bone" one that he wears these days.  I'll have to have him model it. Be careful next time you head over to shop.

Forks, Food and Felted Birds

I bought these adorable garden markers from Allison at Monkeys Always Look. They arrived today and I love them. They're so cute that I'm not sure if they're actually going to go into a plant. She has several to choose from, you'll love them.
I also wanted to share with you another surprise in my mailbox today. I won a giveaway from Lisa. She makes the most amazing felted treasures. I bought several adorable felted acorns from her last year and added to them this past Fall. Check out her newest beautiful creation with a tree stump, moss and mushrooms. Thanks Lisa!
Do you pull out recipes from magazines and stuff them into a file folder? I do and have for YEARS! SERIOUSLY, years and years. I actually make them once in a while. Tonight was such a night. I pulled out this recipe from a Cottage Living magazine from February 2008. It's suppose to be lightish. It could be worse, I guess. It was very, very good. Turkey Meatballs and Pasta in Cream Sauce can now be found here. "They" definitely could have come up with a more original name. It's been a comfort food kind of week. I even made some great mac and cheese the other day. It wasn't low fat at all, but, delicious.

Flower Power

Flowers are back! I remember wearing flowers on my dresses in high school in the 70's. I had an especially pretty one that was a rust color with little feathers coming out of it.  It looked really nice on my Qiana knit dress. Remember that fabric? HA! I'd love to know if you do. We've seen a return of beautiful flowers and ruffles for this Spring. This is one trend that I may have to embrace.

Etsy Valentine Favorites

I made the mistake of not saving the link on this precious valentine.  When and IF I figure it out, I'll link it up.  Seriously, Etsy is massive!  *FOUND IT!

More Cute Aprons

Okay, now I don't look as cute in this as the models below, but I wanted you to see a "real" body in these fun aprons.  I bought this one specifically to coordinate with my daughter's bridal shower last August that I FLEW to Kansas City to give.  Who knows what I was doing or saying in this photo.  I usually talk with my hands.

Why not look adorable while you're cooking?  Who says you have to be all forlorn and stained? Actually maybe nobody says that.  I was just thinking it's always good to try to look as cute as possible and especially at home.  I think these aprons are just the cutest things.  I really like mine.
Now I don't look quite as flirty as the name suggests.  They are called the Flirty Everyday Housewife Apron.  Nor do I look as cute as this young girl who models them.
But, they are fun to wear and protect clothing as needed.

I bought my apron last August off of Etsy and I love it.  I wanted to share these adorable aprons with you today.  You can find them here.
