Ever So Slowly

I know you think nothing is going on over here. Technically, that's not true. But, progress does seems to be taking awhile. Progress is now in all the details. The big WOW factor should take place next week.  I hope. Meaning, we are possibly going to be finished with the front yard next week! That is, if the mulch is delivered by then. We're on the waiting list. Seems everybody is remulching (I guess that's not a word) these days.

I'm also working toward our Spring Women's Retreat in two weeks. My girls (council) came over for a work day and we cranked out several journals.  Should've taken pictures, but I was busy working.

Buddy's wondering if it's all ever going to get done.Today I'm trying to get more done on the retreat and waiting to see HH. I haven't seen him in over 2 weeks! Tomorrow is going to be fun. I'll take my camera!

Buddy's Wondering

Today, I'm working on ideas for a couple of Women's Ministries events coming up.  I love the creative part of this ministry.  I'm sure the details will show up here eventually.  I'm also working on hanging more pictures.  I'm hoping to have my first family portrait wall, with style of course, in this house.  But, I thought it might make you smile to see Buddy today. He's not used to the lizards that are all over the place.  Makes for lots of barking and whining.  He was actually being obedient in this photo and quietly watching the little guy very, very closely.

Buddy's Wondering

Mom took me to the spa today. She keeps calling it that, but I know better. I tried to get out the door, but somehow it never works. When she leaves I call out her name as loud as possible, but she just ignores me. I really should put my foot down. I don't see what is such a big deal. Aren't dogs suppose to be stinky and have bad breath? And what's the idea with the red bow? Don't they realize that this is very embarrassing? It all just wears me out.

Buddy's wondering where we've been lately. We've been out of blogging mode because of travel and internet problems. Hopefully the internet problems are resolved and travel has slowed for a little while. If you're considering flying anywhere, have a Plan B. We were just notified that Midwest Airlines cancelled our flights to our daughter's wedding NEXT MONTH! Fortunately, Southwest Airlines has come to our rescue.
