I thought I'd give you some close ups of my Snowflake tree.
Almost everything on it is related to snow, one way or the other. It's in my favorite color combination of red and blue.
A friend made this sweetheart for me.
Even bathrooms need a little sparkle.
My bedroom has a beachy bent with blues and greens.
This is the guest room, which is pink, yellow and aqua. Sort of a girly room for guests.
These little angels must just be good buddies. She's only kissing him on his forehead. But both of them have their eyes closed, so neither is paying attention.

What a lovely snow tree! The big snowflakes are just perfect. I really enjoyed the closeups - especially the candle with the 'snow' at the base - such a simple idea, yet so pretty. I hope you won't mind if I copy it . . .
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Leah

Hi Karen--found your blog from Homespun Living. What a wonderful touch you have with Christmas decorations. When I studied your photos, I thought "decorating done right" with blend of old and new. I sent your link along to some friends who also have Mona Maries--thought they needed to see her in her Christmas scarf.
ReplyDeleteWhat a heartwarming post, makes me feel cozy!!
ReplyDeletePretty! I especially like the bowl with the ornaments (that bowl looks gorgeous!) and the little girl next to the snowy tree. I have a "Silent Night" ornament just like yours. :-)
ReplyDeletei'm back.......such a beautiful tree and i love, LOVE the the "little sweetheart" your friend made! i love your header too...it looks like vintage baubles.
ReplyDeletetake care,
