Hot Antiques

Do you think I'm going to share with you what the latest popular antique trends are? Well, while I could probably take some pretty accurate guesses about that, I am not an authority on antiques. I just buy what I like and it tends to be kind of all across the board. We are however, going to talk about four determined women who went antiquing in spite of the 100 degree plus temperatures in a little stone barn. Where there's a will, there's a way. And we plowed through. Again. We're silly like that.

August was Polka Dot Petticoat Flea Market at Matilda's Mouse in Valley Center, CA.

Which means anything with a dot has been marked down. Woo hoo!
I got a little painting that I love for $4.
Can you see the picture behind the bed? Must be a single girl's room.

I know I forget sometimes, but I really will do a post including what I bought along with an incredible STEAL I found yesterday.
I N C R E D I B L E!
Bet you just can't wait.

  1. Wow! Your pictures are great! That was a fun day! I loved the way they displayed everything. I didn't know about the sale on items with a polka dot. Or did the heat just erase it from my brain?!. lol Can't wait to see your incredible find from yesterday! :-)
