An Antique A Day - Part Two

After enjoying the Urban Barn, we headed over to Old Town Escondido for lunch and more antiquing.  Isn't this a lovely little lady?

You see all kinds of things. This little guy reminded me of my Mom's kitchen in the 70's. Didn't you know that owls are cool again?
We had lunch at the little French bistro, A Delight of France.  It's no wonder it's a busy place, they have great food and awesome pastries. I should've taken pictures of the incredible eclair that we SHARED!

Evidently Friday is Cruise night in Escondido.  The cars, they were a changing.

  2. Looks like you had a fun day. I bet we passed right by each other. We were down there on Friday too! :-) My mom used to make those owls and sell them in the 70's. I haven'd seen one in years.

  6. That looks like a Perfect day! I love the Lady Head vases. I saw one in an antique shop and was so excited, until I saw the price. It is still there...

I think that I was born in the wrong era too. I love the innocence and purity of the 50's. But, I really do enjoy blogging, so...there are trade offs.

    Have a wonderful day!
