Floral Fridays

Are there any flowers that take you back to another place?  Zinnia's do that for me.  My MIL always planted zinnias around her birdbath.  They are so bright and cheery.  The perfect summer flower.  What flowers take you back?

  1. I love your zinnias! Gladiolas always remind me of my mother's yard in summer. She plants lots of them in two week intervals so they bloom for a really long time and make great arrangements which she puts all over the house. I'd love to grow them myself, but don't have enough sun.
    Have a great weekend,

  3. Wild honeysuckle for me. It's blooming right now and I bring some home from dog walks--the scent is so wonderful and reminds me of nights sleeping with the windows open and the scent coming in.

Congratualations on the Graduate, Karen. I'm sure you're very proud. Hope there's a good job waiting for her. Loved the photo of dad with the empty pockets. BTW, did the new dining room table and chairs do well for the celebration?
