Pumpkin Search

I went to Bates Nut Farm this morning, in Valley Center, California.
There were lots beautiful pumpkins to chose from.
Along with a lovely mountain view.

And adorable scarecrows.
I'd be afraid.  Really afraid.
Their gift shop has lots of yummy nuts, fudge, peanut butters, jams and apple butters, just to name a few.  There's a petting zoo.  Didn't pet anything.  Looked at them from afar.  If I had grandbabies, I'd take them to Bates Nut Farm in October.

  1. don't count your chickens before they hatch!

  2. Don't you love that atmosphere!!! I just wanna pack up and go there!
Love those reddish gourds that look like crowns. Don't know what they are called but love em.

  3. So lovely...I adore those pumpkin farms! Beautiful images..must go visit ours soon! No grandbabies to take but my children still like to go! xoxoxox

  4. Pumpkins patches are so much fun - thanks for the great photos.

  5. Great photos, sweetheart! I wanna go there sometime when we visit! I think I would have chosen a different name for the farm. You didn't show any "nuts" just punkins. Take that back, there was the one of "Hunky Husband." (;=)

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit. Please say hello while you are here. It would be so wonderful to meet you.
