I went to Bates Nut Farm this morning, in Valley Center, California.
There were lots beautiful pumpkins to chose from.
Along with a lovely mountain view.
And adorable scarecrows.
I'd be afraid. Really afraid.
Their gift shop has lots of yummy nuts, fudge, peanut butters, jams and apple butters, just to name a few. There's a petting zoo. Didn't pet anything. Looked at them from afar. If I had grandbabies, I'd take them to Bates Nut Farm in October.
don't count your chickens before they hatch!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun place to visit!

ReplyDeleteLove those reddish gourds that look like crowns. Don't know what they are called but love em.

ReplyDeletePumpkins patches are so much fun - thanks for the great photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, sweetheart! I wanna go there sometime when we visit! I think I would have chosen a different name for the farm. You didn't show any "nuts" just punkins. Take that back, there was the one of "Hunky Husband." (;=)
