This is my guest room. The color is Chopstick from Sherwin Williams.
My daughter's room is Artesian Spring (8269) another Martha color for Sherwin Williams. You can see more of her room here. We did some really fun things to it.
The Master Bathroom is Silver Mist 1619 from SW. This is the only name that I'm not 100% sure about. I love this color. It's a beautiful pale aqua blue.
I've used four colors off one card (19) from Sherwin Williams for my main floor. The living room below is Navajo White. I wanted to keep this room light and bright. You can see I have no window treatments yet and the crown molding/beams have yet to be installed. That's a really long story for another post.
The office is Blue Heather by Benjamin Moore, card 074. The ceiling is Navajo White again. I'm working on the pictures to put on this wall. One is being reframed. My framed hardware will go here also.
The downstairs bathroom is actually a warmer blue. It is Noble Blue from SW (C42). I had planned to use a big damask stencil in here. Then I changed my mind. Now, I may go back to it. We'll see. It definitely needs something.
The red wall in the family room is a Martha Stewart color Barn (8380) for Sherwin Williams. I'm not sure they carry her colors anymore. But, they probably have the formula on record. It's a beautiful, rich red. It almost looks orangish around the lamps, but it's not. Plan on a primer and several coats.
The back wall from kitchen to family room is the color I began with, Mannered Gold by SW (19). It's a beautiful rich gold. You can see that I changed colors in this corner for the kitchen. I liked having a progression of different colors around the main floor rooms. However, I am sick of gold.
More Mannered Gold. Ceiling is Navajo White.
This is Blonde in the kitchen. Not my favorite, but works well with the Granite. I also used Restrained Gold in the hallway, but it's a subtle difference and I don't have a great picture because the lighting is terrible.
So, this is my participation in the paint party. Believe it or not, I still have several rooms/hallways to paint. That's for another day. I hope you enjoyed the tour. Thanks for stopping by.

Gorgeous! Love the shutters on your bathroom wall- it adds to your beachy feel without becoming too theme-y!! Great idea!!
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDeleteI am dropping in from the paint party. Your daughter’s room really turned out well. I love how you put the plate in the empty frame. I might just have to try that somewhere, it is a neat idea.

A woman after my own heart. I loved every photo and wall color. I have similar ones in my home.
ReplyDeleteAlso, is that a pic of you and your mom in your header? I put a vintage photo of my mom up every Wednesday and have for about a year now. In fact, that is my latest post.
You have a beautiful home.
I am in love with your daughter's room. Gorgeous! Your home is lovely. Thanks for the tour!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and serene- love your choices. Thanks for sharing your home with us bloggers.
ReplyDeleteYour home colors are really wonderful! Thanks for the pics
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comment on the stripes...and you are exactly right about making the paint part seem easy! :) Anyway, I love the colors you selected for your house...you have a beautiful home!
ReplyDeletekaren,
ReplyDeletethanks for the comments. I love your rooms and your color choices. I too love the entire swatch from SW with the Restrained Gold. I need to paint my basement/rec.room and I am thinking of using Navajo White or Blonde. I am in love with your red family room. My office is red (my fave color), but it is in such disarray that I don't have a photo yet.
Thanks for sharing!
i LOVE your home! i'm off to see if you've posted a house tour anywhere!
ReplyDeletepaint colors are wonderful too!!!
You have a beautiful home! Love the paint colors, especially in your daughter's room.
ReplyDeleteLove your daughter's room! Really great colors. I've seen lots of Restrained Gold around.....I might have to try it!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of your home, especially your guest room. We have the same bed but I never show pics of the space because it's become the room where everything else that doesn't have a place goes to live. It's such a disaster. I would love to have a beautiful room like that.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love your rooms - they're fabulous!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Marie

I love the paint strip that mannered gold is on, but I know what you mean about getting sick of colors as well. Your blues are fantastic~great choices! Thanks so much for joining the party!!
ReplyDeleteThe old shutters are a great touch. I like using several colors off one paint sample strip too! Finish the crown, always a great touch!
ReplyDeleteI am having so much fun looking at your blog pictures! I love your chippy little cupboard in your kitchen! I would love to do my kitchen in assorted old cabinet pieces- just love that look but not sure I could pull it off!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for coming by my lil ol blog!
