I'm joining the Procrastinator's Party at Melissa's Blog, The Inspired Room. I have been procrastinating with these chairs for a long time. You can tell that I had already started tearing them apart. These first two chairs were $15 a piece from a thrift store. They had seriously UGLY fabric.
I've had this little chair for a long time. When I bought it in the 1990's the woven seat had broken and been covered with a leather seat. After years of use, it broke also. I have a plan to repair it without having to weave a new seat. That reveal you'll have to wait for. I think it's going to be white.
I bought this pretty chair at an estate sale. I think this one is for sure going to be black.
I've probably bitten off more than I can chew in two weeks, especially since I'm going out of town twice in those two weeks. Well, I'm hoping to finish one chair, at the very least. No fabric or foam has been bought yet for any of these. YIKES! My husband will be thrilled to get these out of the garage. You know we store everything in our garages in California.
WoW!!! I myself adore chairs... these chairs have so much potential to be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo much projects...so lil time? Just do, small steps but surely!
