This is what happens when Dad is visiting and has nothing to do. Guys like gadgets, even if they are for winding yarn. 
Look at how beautiful they are! This is Petite Voodoo by Twisted Sisters. It is 50% silk and 50% Merino. I'm making a shawl to wear for all the parties NEXT Christmas. Hopefully there will still be parties. I'm trying to plan ahead. However, I'm already having trouble knitting with it. I may change from bamboo to metal needles. We'll see how that works.
I had a helper rolling muffins of yarn for me last night! It's the way to go!
ReplyDeleteWish I had a helper! I don't have a swift, just my kitchen chairs. It works, though. But laceweight is pain and takes forever!
