BLOGS UNITE!
Did you know I have another blog? Yep. Originally, I meant for my blogs to have separate identities. I have yet to define that very well, so for the time being, I'm going to combine them and only post on Elderberry Street. If you'd like to read my previous posts click on this link, Heliumhand. Congratulations on the wedding coming up! Such a special time. I will be sharing a few highlights on my blog once I can wrap my head around everything that happened (and get all my photos loaded!).
ReplyDeleteAfterwards I felt proud. Proud to be her mom, blessed to have raised her. And I felt sad. Sad to see her time under our roof ending. Sad to let go of the mom I was and become the mom to a grown woman. It felt surreal.
Now it feels just quiet. I am looking forward to when she finally returns from her honeymoon and starts calling me again. I miss her.
Ah, being a mom is not a job for the faint of heart. Our heartstrings are pulled this way and that! But all and all, under these good circumstances, it was the happiest day of my life.
