Master Bedroom

I thought I'd give you an update on how our Master Bedroom is coming along. Above the bed are photos and maps of Harwichport, Massachusetts on Cape Cod.  A few years ago we would rent a cottage and vacation there during the summers.  That was before we moved back to the West Coast. It was a little tricky getting the pictures to work together. It's a work in progress. The Seahorse pillow is from Pottery Barn.  

This photo was taken before the crown moulding was installed.

I also think a bench would be nice at the foot of the bed.  Haven't found one I like yet.

 I found this old, peely buoy on Ebay.  I think the colors look great on the mantle.

Evidently, I haven't taken pictures of my painted bookshelves.  It's not terribly exciting, just another part of the room.  I have yet to balance out the pictures above the bed.  I'm still searching for the right thing.  My husband didn't think my oar was "just the thing".  Next thing are some linen drapes and someday a more comfortable chair.
