Things have been busy around here this week. We placed an offer on this beauty today.
Now, it's always a possibility that our offer won't be accepted.
But who doesn't like to look at a pretty house anyway? Pretty front door, isn't it?
Gorgeous view
Family room fireplace. It obviously needs built-ins. Californians love their built-ins.
Definitely needs a rug too.
Pretty kitchen minus some appliances. Theft in the real estate market. Stupid people.
One dirty, but amazing sink and faucet.
Master bedroom fireplace.
Master bathtub.
Downstairs en-suite bath.
If we get this house, there could be some fun project blogging in the next year.
Hi Karen
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that you will be spending next Christmas is this lovely house. What fun it will be turning a house into a home, good luck.
Wishing you Health, Wealth & Happiness in 2011

How exciting to be making a new home in the new year, Karen. I hope everything falls into place for you. If so, your blog visitors are due for some intriguing nest-building ideas in the coming months.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you and yours--two and four legged--in 2011. I've enjoyed following your adventures this past year--and Buddy's as well. Give him a New Year's pat for me, won't you?
Hello Karen
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home, love the entry door!

Oh I hope you get the house so we can follow it's transformation!!!
ReplyDeleteKaren, I hope the offer sticks, what a gem! I see built-ins in the family room too and just painting that island cream or black would make a huge difference. Can't wait to see what happens and Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteIt's a beauty! That front door is gorgeous. Love the decorating ideas in your newest post, especially that pale blue bead board. I laughed out loud at the white kitchen though...oooooh white fabric chairs in our house... yep, for about 10 seconds. Someday perhaps...
ReplyDeleteHave fun on your new adventure!
What a beautiful house. I know you will make it into a lovely home with all of your style and touches of great taste. How exciting!
