Snowflakes

I absolutely love snowflakes for a Christmas decoration. I have loved them since we lived outside of Boston and somebody really talented made fabulous paper snowflakes for the library. They were very intricate and beautiful. I have searched and searched for a picture of a wreath I made in 2005 from paper snowflakes, but no such luck. We've had computer "issues" this past few months and I think some pictures got lost in the craziness. In 2005, we lived in a townhouse that still looked like it was in 1969. It had aqua shag carpet and flocked wallpaper, seriously! The fireplace had no mantle and was basically concrete block with stucco. I made a wreath out of paper snowflakes using different colors of blues, greens and whites. They were adhered with double sided tape. I thought it was pretty cool, but I can't show you. Bummer. Anyway, it was a REALLY inexpensive Christmas decoration.
Check out Martha's snowflake crafts and decorations here. Melissa from The Inspired Room has links to lots more Christmas finery.
