Thrift Detour

On my way home from Jury Duty last week, I took a little detour and stopped by a thrift store that I'd never been to. It is near a retirement community so there are different items than the ones closer to me. I'm always looking out for really old sewing patterns. I'm not planning on sewing a wedding dress in the near future, that's for sure.  Although we did buy a pattern that we considered for DD1's wedding last year.  What was I thinking?
Wooden spools of thread are a favorite. Don't ask me what I'm planning on doing with these.
These are fun. Just in case I need to know how to make a dickie again.
You never know, they may return.

I can never have enough knitting patterns.  You know, these might come in handy one of these days!

Sweater coats are now all the rage again, get those knitting needles out & get cracking.
