Little Feet

I have been busy lately.  In fact, I'm revealing this project a little prematurely.
But, I couldn't help myself. I wanted you to see that I WAS being productive.
It takes me forever to make much progress.  These are toe up toddler socks.  I obviously need to perfect the short row heels.
There is one left to finish.  I better hurry.  The little girl will be here soon!
I got inspired by these beautiful socks!
And these. . .
Next time I'm going for some Koigu instead.
I am linking up to Friday Pretties.  Check out all the other participants!

Weekend Worktable

What do you think about these two?  Can you tell what they are?

I'm working on some Christmas favors for our Women's Ministry Christmas House Walk this year.  It feels great to be ahead of schedule!  I thought I'd give you a peek.
While I'm not finished, I feel like we're almost there.  One project not hanging over my head this year!

Etsy Temptations

One of my favorite places to shop is Etsy. It's SO convenient! Which can get me into trouble. I gave into temptation a little recently. Thought I'd share, so maybe you could be a little tempted too. Seriously I had good reasons!
I really needed more coasters. My Bible Study ladies, all 19 of them, have to have safe places to put their drinks. I've been meaning to make some, but you know how that goes and goes and goes. So, I let somebody else do it. Aren't they pretty?  They're perfect.
This little cutie was a pure, unadulterated, for no good reason, impulse buy.
Mine is orange/red and so very cute on this here laptop I'm on.
I found myself in need of a clock in my sewing room.  A digital one would never do.

Then of course, there's Buddy.  He "needed" a fancier collar than the Harley Davidson "bad to the bone" one that he wears these days.  I'll have to have him model it. Be careful next time you head over to shop.

Busy Weekend

I had a very busy weekend.  Started off at the Nut Farm, which at this time of year turns into a wonderful family place to pick pumpkins, pet animals, buy yummy goodies and take lots of photos. Our church's Women's Ministry sponsored an event for our families.

Today, again, our Women's Ministry team sponsored a few of us in the Komen Race/Walk for the Cure.

There were so many participants, that it was difficult to walk very fast. It was a very good weekend!

Disneyland Spooktacular

 Anticipation.

The Haunted Mansion was a blend of Halloween and Christmas.  There's just something not right about that combination.
Notice the cell phone usage everywhere.
There was a lot of standing.
And an ice cream stop with sprinkles.
Drinks of choice.
I don't really know why I was standing bent over.  Just to make myself look heavier, I guess.  As the sun set, I had fun playing with the settings on my point and shoot.  This photo below was intentional.
Blurry Main Street, Disneyland.  Should've had a tripod. But I like the moving crowds.
Sorry for the blurry tree.  It's still kind of cool.
Had a lovely day at Disneyland!

Day Trip

My husband and I spent the day in Solana Beach. We went to some of our favorite spots. I've posted about this area before here.  These photos are from my favorite booth at Solo.

These are rubber jewelry molds.  I love them all together.
This is one of my favorite garden centers.  Chicweed is small and specialized.
They put together marvelous succulent pots.

This little pot below went home with me.
We bought a really fun piece of furniture.  That post will be for another time. Tomorrow I'll be at Disneyland, so I'll see ya later!
