Success!

I had some new instructions on how to take pictures of the moon.
Since we had such a lovely subject the other day, I decided to try them out.
I'm pretty happy with the results.
I think it was a success! Use a fast shutter speed, set your camera to spot metering, use a telephoto lens, a tripod and I set my White Balance to daylight.  (I'm not sure about that last setting). Any other suggestions would be welcome.

  1. Another super moon chaser! Good shots-much better when there are some clouds, a tree line, something tall. I got best shots at 9p.m. and 3 a.m. Loved all the shots of super moon in more desert-like places like yours--colors so much better.
