I've begun contemplating a new paint job for my living/dining room and entry hall. At the moment the entry is a milk chocolate color that was painted to look custom painted to sell. I don't really care for it and the living room is a darker brown. I actually like it better, but typically gravitate toward lighter rooms. There is plenty of sunshine so it can handle the darker color. Lately I'm toying with different ideas. I mentioned indigo blue a few weeks ago. Most recently I'm thinking of painting these areas with some version of gray. I love the mixture of grays and beige that I've seen showing up this last year. I'm kind of tired of an all brown/beige/gold color palette. Here are some of my inspiration photos.
Does anybody out there have a favorite gray paint color? The search is on. I'm going to buy samples today and some foam core to try them out. I'll keep you posted.

I like the gray in picture number four the best. It's warm and inviting...not too light and not too dark. Pretty! Have fun with your swatches. :-)
