Thinking about Hiking

Now don't get all excited! I'm not going hiking any time soon. This hat below is named the Thinking Cap from Spincycle Yarns. I began the project so DH can have a nice warm hat to wear when he is hiking on the Pacific Coast Trail next month. He'll be way up high and the mornings are cold. He said he would actually wear it.

This is the same ball of  yarn even though one looks darker.  It is beautiful.  Oops, you can see the lovely price too.  

I think DH will look wonderful and be nice and cozy in this hat.  We'll see if I can get him to pose in it.  Doubtful!
